32nd convocation ceremony of YABA college of technology

The 32nd convocation  ceremony started exactly  10:00am,which took place at Dr. Philip Adegbile sport Pavilion on the 22nd of November 2018.
       However, top prominence personnel  were present at the 32nd convocation ceremony ;2016/2017, which include the rector of YABA college of technology, heads of department, academic boards, heads of service unit, Deans of department etc.
       Furthermore,   the registrar was made the host speaker of the convocation ceremony. The Honourable Minister of education which  happened to be
"Malam Adamu Adamu "constitue was also present at the occasion.
         Malam Adamu Adamu constithute the assembly at the 32nd convocation of YABA college of technology, for the purpose of awards of prizes, diploma, certificate and fellowship. It was recorded that (7,177) student were graduating from YABA college of technology. 132 student had distinction in their final year programme (2016 /2017). The total number of student that had upper credit were (875) in number and (275) in number had a pass.
           Afterwards, the chairman of Public Council started in his speech that Rector is really doing his work as a Rector of an Institution. He further noted that the public Council had massive interest in renovating the school hostel, which place a smile on everyone .
According to the Rector of YABA college of technology, Engineer Obafemi Omokungbe. He started that the school is operating under 24 /7 security, also there has been development of Infrastructures.
            He encourage the students to be determined  in their goals and always believe in their dream. He also congratulate them  on their good  performance despite the rough way to success. J
           The programme finally came to an end exactly 12:25pm.

Senate okays higher institutions for President’s hometown, nine other BTS MEDIA November 29,2018  The Senate on Wednesday approved the establishment of 10 new higher institutions across the country. The resolution was made after the federal lawmakers adopted the report of the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFund. The committee’s chairman, Jibrin Barau, presented the report for consideration. The 10 new higher institutions approved by the Senate include one polytechnic to be located in the hometown of President Muhammadu Buhari, Daura in Katsina State. The federal lawmakers agreed that the establishment of the institutions would open up the education space in the country. They also expressed the belief that the step would assist the country to fight illiteracy.
